Shepley Bridge Marina, Huddersfield Road, Mirfield WF14 9HR. We are situated on the A644 between Dewsbury and Huddersfield. Entrance is off the road, just before Steanard Lane if approaching from Huddersfield direction, or just after Steanard Lane if approaching from Dewsbury. A one-way traffic system is upheld within the marina itself. At busy times such as Open Weekends drivers should proceed down Steanard Lane and park in the car park of the Ship Inn, as far as possible from the Inn itself to reduce inconvenience to its patrons. This arrangement is by kind permission of its management, to whom we are most indebted.

For those using public transport, the marina is served by a number of Arriva or Centrebus routes operating between Dewsbury and Huddersfield or Halifax via Mirfield. Ask to alight at Steanard Lane. By rail, the nearest station is Mirfield. From the station, turn left towards Mirfield and on reaching the bridge over the canal turn right on to the towpath and the marina comes up on the opposite bank after about one mile - there is a bridge! Allow 40 minutes for the walk, or there are buses from Mirfield. Please ensure before boarding that your train is scheduled to stop at Mirfield! By prior arrangement passenger groups arriving in Mirfield by rail may be met by the boats adjacent to the canal bridge (by Lidl supermarket).
